It is a hybrid program. You start with on-demand video lessons and live Zoom sessions with Erin on Sundays in the months before, then finish with two weeks in person in Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
Yes. Graduates earn the 200 hour Foundations certification through Five Parks School of Yoga, a Yoga Alliance registered school.
Fly into Liberia (LIR). The drive to Tamarindo is about 1 to 1.5 hours. From San José (SJO) it is 4.5 to 6 hours.
Book a flight that lands by 2:00pm on the first day. Training begins at 5:00pm, with a simple Costa Rican dinner around 6:30pm and the first yoga class around 7:30pm. On the last day, training ends at 9:00am, so book a flight home that leaves no earlier than noon. Shuttles leave about four hours before the first flight in your group.
Our shared shuttles are $60 each way including taxes and are timed around everyone’s flights. If your flight lands outside 10:45am to 3:30pm, or departs outside 11:00am to 5:00pm, a smaller shuttle may cost more, up to $150 for one person alone. You can also arrange your own ride and we will share drivers we trust.
Some students fly in the day before and stay at the Hilton Garden Inn or Hampton Inn across the street from the Liberia airport, or the more economical Hotel Santa Ana nearby. Our shuttles pick up and drop off at all three at no extra charge.
