How to do Half Splits

  1. From Low Lunge, shift your hips back over your back knee.
  2. Straighten your front leg.
  3. Flex your front foot if you want more stretch in the calf.
  4. Fold forward over your front leg with a long spine.
  5. Keep your hands on the floor or on blocks.

Common mistakes

  • Locking the front knee.
  • Rounding the back hard to get the head down.
