Journal Prompt: Renew

I hope you will take this opportunity to spend time in your space in the spirit of RENEWAL

Take time to read and reflect upon these quotes and then answer the question below.

“Renewal is not just innovation and change. It is also the process of bringing the results of change into line with our purposes.” John W. Gardner

“Renewal is what happens when you realize that some of this stuff you’ve been carrying around doesn’t matter.” Rob Bell

“When I let go of what I am, I become what I might be.” Lao Tzu

“Sometimes renewal comes in surrender.” Rob Bell

“Rebuild your strength, Regain your balance, Revive your energy, Refresh your mind, Rekindle your soul.”

JOURNAL PROMPT:

YOU ARE WORTHY OF TRANSFORMATION AND RENEWAL. WRITE DOWN SOME THOUGHTS ABOUT HOW YOU CAN BRING YOUR PAST (REFLECTION) AND PRESENT (RELEASE) TOGETHER TO LEAD YOU TOWARD RENEWAL. WHAT ACTIONS WILL CULTIVATE CHANGE IN YOUR DAY TO DAY LIFE SO THAT YOU FEEL RENEWED?

Meditation: Mindfulness Meditation

I invite you to practice this guided meditation at any point in your day. Take time to set yourself up in a comfortable position so that you can experience this practice without distractions, or discomfort.

Chant: Om Gam

I hope you enjoy participating in this practice of chanting Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha.

You can practice with a Mala, which is a string of 108 beads. A mala can help you keep your mind on the process. If you don’t have a Mala, it is not a problem, because I will be counting the rounds as I guide you in the practice. We will be practicing a quarter mala, which is 27 rounds of chanting.

You can continue on your own if you are inspired to chant 108 rounds.

We will be practicing the chant Om Gam Ganapataye Namaha, which translates from Sanskrit to English as “Salutations to Ganesh, the remover of obstacles.”

Chant this mantra to wake up your root chakra energy for TRANSFORMATION.
