A preview of current classes at Five Parks Yoga

All Levels Yoga

This 60 minute class is a balanced class that includes meditation, pranayama, vinyasa and deep stretch. Each section of this class is slower in its pace. You will receive a well balanced class that leaves you feeling energized, alert, relaxed and focused.

All Levels Vinyasa Flow

This class will have a slow flow warm up and some deep stretch toward the end. The majority of the class will be linked standing postures. The class will move at a pace that will build heat in the body to support deeper opening in the joints and muscles, and greater breath control and awareness. Standard alignment cues and variations will be provided throughout class.

Slow Flow – Deep Stretch Yoga

Deep stretch classes are an excellent way to gain flexibility and move toward a relaxed state of mind. Take the opportunity to slow down and settle into each pose. Holding yoga poses, while staying connected to the sound and quality of the breath, allows the body to relax and open.

Yoga Fit

Take your yoga practice to a new level by adding strength training and cardio to your hour on the mat. This class will include basic yoga postures with the option to add weights – intensifying each pose and working every major muscle group. Cardio bursts help to rev your metabolism during this fun and energizing yoga class.

PLEASE NOTE: You will need to provide your own weights. I would recommend either 2.5, 5 or 8 pound weights or any combination. Lighter weights are great during flow. Heavier weights are appropriate for rep sets. You are welcome to leave the weights at the studio between classes.

Please try to arrive 5 minutes early for class to ensure classes can start on time.
